The Township residents that live within the Village of Lodi are serviced through the Lodi Police Department. A full-time staff of 6 including the Policy Chief, two Sergeants, three patrol officers, one part-time officer, and one auxiliary patrol the Village. There are two police cruisers in the fleet.

Lodi Volunteer Fire and Rescue provides service to the residents of Harrisville Township through a contract between Harrisville Township and the village of Lodi.
Volunteers for the Village and Township make up the fire fighters and EMS personnel. Monthly training sessions and yearly continuing education classes keep our volunteer fire department ready to handle this job.
The Lodi Fire Department, first organized in 1890 with an engine house, hose cart and 300 feet of hose, has grown. Today’s equipment includes: two main line pumpers, one quick attack truck, one grass fire truck, one tanker, and two squads.
